This is the version in force. Accepting it in the extension is what turns contribution on.

What changes

This version adds Tesco product and basket collection alongside Ocado. It also describes the catalogue fields and search-result information used by Trlly. Your previous agreement to Ocado collection does not cover this expansion. Contribution requires acceptance of the updated terms. Reading available price history does not require an account or contribution.

Tesco receipt collection is not enabled. Ocado receipt collection remains separately gated. These terms do not switch either feature on.

1. What your browser sends

On supported product and catalogue pages at www.ocado.com and www.tesco.com, Trlly reads the following fields when the page supplies them:

• Retailer, product number, name, brand, barcode, category, image and pack size.
• Regular price, previous price, unit price, offer wording and conditions, promotion dates, stock status, and when and where the observation was made.
• Ocado Smart Pass prices or Tesco Clubcard prices, labelled separately.
• Product ratings and review counts, nutrition, ingredients and allergens.
• On supported search-result pages, the search query from the page address, result count, product positions and sponsored placement. We do not record keystrokes or collect other form contents. Tesco positions are page-local unless a verified page offset is available.

On a supported basket page, Trlly can send each product, quantity, unit price, line total and offer, plus the retailer's basket subtotal and capture time. The server checks basket arithmetic and rejects captures it cannot reconcile. The basket organiser stores your groups locally in your browser. Organising items locally is separate from contributing basket contents.

When Ocado receipt capture is enabled and authorised, it sends receipt dates, product lines, quantities, paid prices, totals and delivery or substitution status. The browser replaces the raw order number with a scrambled identifier. Receipt prices stay separate from public shelf-price history.

Trlly may record interactions with its own graphs and links. It does not record general clicks or activity on the retailer's website.

2. Page and field boundaries

Trlly uses retailer-specific route checks and reads named fields. It does not upload a retailer's entire page, application cache, account or browser session. Product collection excludes account, checkout, payment and order routes. Basket collection has its own route and consent checks.

Ocado receipt capture is restricted to /orders and /orders/<order number>/details. /orders/<order number>/delivery, refund, checkout, address and settings pages are excluded. Tesco order routes are excluded from collection. Trlly does not open retailer pages in the background to build a browsing history.

We never collect retailer passwords, cookies, authentication tokens, your name or contact details held by a retailer, delivery addresses or instructions, card or bank details, or raw order numbers. We do not collect browsing from other websites. Signing into Trlly uses Trlly's authentication service, not your retailer account.

3. How we use contributions

Product observations support price history, trends, listing badges, watches and product comparisons. A Tesco product and an Ocado product remain separate even if their product numbers match. Supporting two retailers does not mean every product is matched across them. Any comparison must state its basis.

Basket contents support your basket savings. Your receipts support your own paid-price history. Other members cannot read your baskets or receipts. Notifications, billing and receipt capture remain unavailable where their feature switches are off. Accepting these terms does not enable them.

Commercial use of community contributions remains switched off. This version does not authorise selling or transferring your shopping data, including aggregate data derived from it. Any proposed commercial use of product or basket contributions needs a separate policy review and fresh consent under new terms. Consent alone does not remove platform restrictions. Your purchase history is never sold or used in commercial reports.

A shopping basket can reveal medication, health, religious dietary choices, pregnancy or alcohol use. We do not infer sensitive traits from it or build products that do.

4. Consent and control

Trlly records consent for product prices, basket contents and purchase history separately on the server. The acceptance screen identifies the documents you accept. This release widens product-price and basket collection, not Tesco purchase-history collection.

Switch contribution off to stop new submissions. You can withdraw consent, delete stored baskets, delete stored receipts, or delete your account in the extension. You can still read public price history without contributing. Watches require an account and the applicable consent checks.

Deleting your account removes your profile, watches, alerts, baskets, receipts and consent records, and severs the link to retained product observations. Product-price facts may remain in public history. They are not a record of your shopping once the account link has been removed.

5. Identification and records

Product contributions carry server-derived account and pseudonymous identifiers for consent checks, abuse prevention and deletion. They are not anonymous while that link exists. Public price reads do not expose contributor identity. Baskets and receipts belong to your account and are protected by access checks. We retain submission counts, outcomes, source and timestamps for rate limiting and audit. We store accepted document text with its version and checksum.

Trlly is the data controller. Contribution is based on your consent, which you can withdraw. The privacy policy explains retention, service providers and your rights.

6. Limits and fair use

A price is what a page showed at a particular time. Parsers can make mistakes, offers have conditions, and older observations may be stale. Check the retailer's checkout price before buying. A Clubcard offer is not an unconditional price, and a multibuy does not establish the price of one item.

Do not fabricate observations, baskets or receipts, use someone else's account data, or submit faster than ordinary browsing. Server checks enforce submission limits. These terms do not authorise automated retailer crawling.

Trlly is independent of Ocado and Tesco. Their names and loyalty programme names belong to their owners. Neither retailer's support or approval is implied. Your retailer's terms continue to apply to your use of its website.

7. Changes and contact

Material collection changes require updated terms and fresh consent for the affected scope. We retain earlier versions so you can read what you accepted. If the software collects something this document does not describe, contact privacy@trlly.co.uk. For other questions, contact support@trlly.co.uk.
